SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo volleyball team lost 3-1 against Nova Southeastern on Senior Day in a Sunshine State Conference (SSC) match on Saturday evening.
After dropping the first two sets, the Lions rallied to a 11-6 lead in the third frame before a kill from senior
Oliwia Durka ignited a 6-0 run by the Green and Gold to give them a 20-10 cushion. However, the Sharks trimmed its deficit to 23-19 before a kill from freshman

Anyaliz Rodriguez gave the Lions the 25-20 set victory. During the set, Saint Leo hit at a staggering .324 percent with 17 total kills in addition to recording four service aces. The Lions lost the fourth set by a 25-10 margin.
Durka led the Lions with 11 kills while chipping in with four digs. Rodriguez registered 10 kills with seven digs. Junior
Tajma Muharemovic dished out 21 assists and tallied seven digs. Freshman
Emma LeTourneau collected a pair of solo blocks.
Saint Leo returns to the court on Tuesday, November 19 as it travels to face Florida Southern in a conference match, starting at 7 p.m.
