SAINT LEO, Fla. – Saint Leo University women's lacrosse is ranked No. 24 to open the 2024 season. The Lions are one of six Sunshine State Conference teams ranked in the
ILWomen/IWLCA Division II Preseason Poll.
Saint Leo is coming off a 2023 campaign that saw them finish sixth in the Sunshine State Conference with a 10-7 overall record.
The Lions garnered four All-SSC honors as well as the freshman of the year for the third consecutive season.
Ashlee Wilsynski,
Fiona McLaughlin,
Maria Palomba, and
Reagan Buhrman were all named to the second team.
Jessica Harclerode became the third Lion to be named SSC Freshman of the Year.
The Green and Gold open the 2024 season at Alabama – Huntsville (Feb. 16) and at Shorter (Feb. 17). The Lions first home game of the season is February 24 against Flagler.
