SAINT LEO, Fla - The Saint Leo Lions' Volleyball team split their two games versus Spring Hill and Valdosta State.
First, versus Spring Hill College, the Lions had to battle back after being down two sets to one.
The Lions rallied hard in the fourth set closing it out 25-15 to force a fifth set.
In the fifth set, The Lions pulled of a close victory capturing the winning set 15-13.
In the second matchup of the day, the Lions faced Valdosta State.
Valdosta State took control of the game early by taking the first two sets.
The Lions did make a great effort for a comeback attempt once again by taking the third set 25-18.
Valdosta State took no chances however, as they closed the matchup out by capturing the fourth set 25-16.
Oliwia Durka led the Lions with 15 kills while
Julia Panko was second in command with 10 kills of her own.
Panko also did a great job defensively while leading the Lions with three blocks.
