SAINT LEO, Fla - Saint Leo Men's Basketball's Marty Jackson has signed his first professional basketball contract with Galway Maree Basketball Club in the Ireland Super League

Jackson is coming off of a terrific season with the Green & Gold that saw him finish with 18.0 points per game, 5.9 rebounds per game, and 1.1 blocks per game.

His performances led to the Lions to a 22-10 record finishing in second place in the Sunshine State Conference.

He was highlighted with SSC Honors finishing in the All-SSC Second Team, Second Team All-South Region and first team All-SSC Newcomer Team.

Saint Leo Men's Basketball Head Coach Lance Randall said, "Marty is a tenacious and determined competitor. He will be a great professional. We are looking forward to following his successes on this next stage of his journey."

Jackson is Coach Randall's 15th player in the last 10 years to be offered a professional contract.
