SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo men's lacrosse team stand tall at home versus Embry-Riddle 17-10.
The Lions now move to 8-4 after the win.

In the first quarter, it was
Guy Bistrow who scored the first goal of the game for the Lions.
Â
Due to Saint Leo's high powered offensive efforts, they took a 6-2 lead into the second quarter.
Â
Adem Tekman was first to strike in the second as he increased the lead to 7-2 in favor of the Green & Gold.
Â
The Lions took a 10-5 lead into halftime.
Â
Tekman also opened the second half scoring for the Lions which stopped some of the momentum that the Eagles had gained early on in the quarter.

The Lions held a 13-9 lead into the fourth quarter.
Â
Thomas Nelan got the Lions back on the scoring side of things to start the fourth.

Saint Leo held down all pressure from Embry-Riddle and closed the game out to finish on top 17-10.

The leading goal scorers for the Lions were
Guy Bistrow and
Greg Palmer who each had four goals.

The Lions now go back on the road as they travel down to Tampa to take on the Spartans. The game is on April 12th with a 7:00pm start time.
