SAINT LEO, FL. – The #1 Saint Leo University Men's tennis team won 6–1 versus #14 Lynn.

DOUBLES
#35 Duo Ivan Marrero and Tao Castillo got the fire started for the Lions with a 6-3 win in their matchup. They were followed by Nicolas Bacella and Luis Iriarte who secured the doubles point for Saint Leo.

SINGLES
#3 Ivan Marrero was once again a part of kicking things off for the Green & Gold with a 6-0, 6-2 win. #17 Martin Soukal was next up as he earned a tough 5-7, 6-3, 6-2 win.
 
The rest of the squad closed out the match as the Lions walked away with a 6-1 win over #14 Lynn University.
 
"It was a good battle today as usual between Saint Leo and Lynn, said Coach Chad Berryhill. "Also tough conditions with the heat. We are still taking one match at a time and getting better each time out. Now our focus turns to Rollins and closing out the conference regular season on a high note."

Up next, The Lions travel to Winter Park, Florida as they set their eyes on Rollins. The match is scheduled for April 12th at 3:00pm.
