SAINT LEO, Fla. – The #22 Saint Leo women's lacrosse team fell to the #13 Embry-Riddle Eagles 18-8.
The Lions now move to 10-7 after falling to Embry-Riddle.

In the first quarter, it was Emma hayhurst who scored the first goal of the game for the Lions which broke a lot of the Eagles' momentum.Â
In the second quarter,
Sophia Wood pulled the Lions within one goal after scoring early in the quarter.
The Eagles took a 9-3 lead into halftime thanks to a strong offensive showing from them.
In the third quarter,
Eliz Fino continued her strong run of form notching the first Lions' goal of the second half.
Heading into the fourth, the Eagles held a 13-6 lead after a strong Lions push.
Despite the stronger effort in the second half, the Eagles finished on top 18-8.
