SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo men's lacrosse team closed out the regular season in style with a 20-10 victory over Lynn University.
The Lions now move to 9-6 after the win.

In the first quarter,
Ryan Marek put the Lions on the board 1-0 less than a minute into the game. This was the start of early momentum for a dominant Lions performance.
In the second quarter,
Adem Tekmen got on the board to extend the Lions' lead.
The Lions roared into halftime carrying an impressive 10-3 lead which had Lynn University rattled.
Coming out of halftime, the freshman,
Greg Palmer who has been a shining light for the Green & Gold got scoring early.
Heading into the fourth quarter, the Lions held a 14-9 lead after Lynn gained back some momentum.
The late push was not enough for the Knights as the Lions would score more and finish on top 20-10.Â
