SAINT LEO, FL. – The #1 Saint Leo University Men's tennis team won 4-0 against Embry-Riddle University in the second round of the SSC Tournament.

DOUBLES
#30 Duo Tao Castillo Bernal and Ivan Marrero got the Lions going with a 6-2 victory. They were followed up by Nicolas Bacella and Luis Iriarte who secured a 6-3 win of their own which closed out the doubles point for the Green & Gold.

SINGLES
In singles action, #34 Vincent Thiel started off the victory run for the Lions with a 6-4, 6-1 win. Nicolas Bacella followed suit with a quick 6-0, 6-1 win. Finally it was #43 Tao Castillo Bernal who closed out the match for the Lions with a 6-0, 6-1 win of his own.

The Lions will now face the #2 SSC Seeded Barry University in the championship round on April 22nd at 9:00am.
