SAINT LEO, FL - The Saint Leo Men's Basketball team held an inner-squad award ceremony to celebrate the 2022-23 season. Here are the results for the awards:
 

Most Valuable Player: #0 Marty Jackson

Offensive MVP: #4 Kanon Koster

Guard Defensive MVP (CO – Winners): #5 Jeremy Sanchez and #22 Owen Pawlikowski

Big Defensive MVP: #12 Jared Coomer

Most Improved: #23 Logan Ryan

Defensive Playmaker of the Year: #0 Marty Jackson

Practice Player of the Year: #2 Grant Disken

Guard Competition Winner: #2 Grant Disken

Big Competition Winner: #0 Marty Jackson

Free Throw League Champion: #12 Jared Coomer

"This was a great group to coach," said coach Lance Randall."

"We finished with the 2nd  highest win total in the 55 years of Saint Leo men's basketball in NCAA Division II. We also finished 2nd in the very strong Sunshine State Conference to the national champion.  We lose 3 very important seniors but we have a great group coming back and a lot of Talented newcomers in this recruiting class.   I know I speak for our coaching staff and our entire team that we are looking forward to next year's journey together," said Randall.
