SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo men's lacrosse team makes it look easy versus Davis & Elkins with a 21-4 win.

The Lions now move to 2-3 after win.

In the first quarter, Freshman
John Raucci put Lions in the lead just over a minute in live play.

The first quarter was the Lions most dominant showing of the season so far as they outscored the Senators 10-1.

Senior
Landon Spangenberg scored the 11th goal for Saint Leo and the first goal in the second quarter.

The Lions went into halftime with a 14-2 lead over Davis & Elkins.
Coming out of halftime, it was yet another Freshman in
Thomas Nelan who got the Green & Gold scoring kicked off.

The rest of the game was more solid defensive work for the Lions as they closed the game with stunning defense to win the game 21-4.

It was a trio goalie performance as Junior
Chase Strait, Senior
Evan Hock, and Junior
Jed Page gave up a combined four goals with Hock conceding none during his time in.

Leading goal scorer for Saint Leo was once again Freshman
Greg Palmer who had five goals and two assists,

Michael Flores, Sophomore
Jake Galzerano, and Freshman
Duke McGill went a combined 22-27 on faceoffs with Flores leading the way with 13-16 wins.

Up next, the Lions are once again in action at University Turf Stadium versus Young Harris on Wednesday, March 8th. Faceoff is scheduled for 7pm.
