SAINT LEO, Fla. – The #19 Saint Leo women's lacrosse team falls to #6 Tampa.
The Lions now move to 8-3 after the disappointing loss to Tampa.
 
In the first quarter, Tampa went up 4-0 to establish early control of the game.
 
In the second quarter, 
Sophia Wood scored the Lions first and only goal of the first half.
 
Tampa took a 12-1 lead into halftime.
 
Tampa closed out the second half win consistent offense but an even stronger defensive performance as they finished on top 18-1.
 
Up next, the Lions go back on the road as they head towards Boca Raton on April 5th to face off versus #11 Lynn University. Start time for the matchup is 3:00pm.
