SAINT LEO, Fla – #3 Saint Leo Women's Tennis Lions had comfortable game versus the State College of Florida winning the overall match 7-0.
 
This improves the Lions to 15-2 on the season.
 
In double action, the Lions made quick work of any threat sweeping the Manatees 3-0.
 
The #3 duo of Marta Vicens Miquel and Lavinia Lancelotti kicked things off for the Lions with a 6-0 win. They were followed by the pairs of Luzia Obermeier/Kamilya Shailina and Claudia Borbon Roca/Jade Bellegy who also got wins in double action.
 
In singles action, the Manatees were not a match for Saint Leo as the Lions won every match up as well.
 
#7 Marta Vicens Miquel led the way for the Lions with a 6-3, 6-0 win in the first bit of action in the
singles matchups.
 
#11 Claudia Borbon Roca also took care of business with a 6-2, 6-2 win of her own.
 
The rest of the team involved in singles matches continued the successful ways as the Green & Gold ended things on top 7-0.
