Saint Leo, Fla – The #3 Saint Leo Women's Tennis earn a comfortable 4-0 win over the Valdosta State Blazers.
 
The Lions began with doubles action where they won swiftly 2-0 over the Blazers. The #3 duo Lavinia Lancelotti and Marta Vicens Miquel closed out the first match of the day winning 6-4.
 
They were followed up by the duo of Luzia Obermeier and Kamila Shailina continued the momentum for the Lions with a 6-4 win of their own.
 
In singles action, the Lions won all three of the finished matches to secure a 4-0 overall win.
 
#7 Vicen Miquel started the singles action for the Lions and got kicked off with a 6-0, 6-1 win.
 
#40 Luzia Obermeier and #63 Kamila Shailina won both of their matches and closed out the 4-0 win for the Green & Gold.
 
The Lions are back in action on March 28th versus the State College of Florida at the Saint Leo Tennis Center.
