SAINT LEO, Fla. – The #18 Saint Leo women's lacrosse team fell to #15 Flagler 18-11.
The Lions now move to 6-2 after a hard defeat at the hands of the falcons.
In the first quarter, the Lions were trailing early after Flagler scored two minutes into the game but were quickly answered by Junior
Fiona McLaughlin to tie the game with the help from an assist from Senior
Ashlee Wilsynski.

Saint Leo took the momentum from their first goal and finished the first quarter with a 4-1 lead.

McLaughlin was the first to score in the second quarter extending the lead to four goals.
Â
Flagler fought back as the quarter went along and the game went into halftime 6-5 with the Lions in the lead.

Flagler went on a run in the third quarter and took a 11-7 lead into the fourth quarter as the Lions were now faced with having to make a huge comeback against a strong Flagler team.

The Green & Gold were the first to score in the fourth and brought the deficit to three goals early.

Unfortunately for the Lions it was not enough as Flagler closed out the game as it finished with a final score of 18-11.
