SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo men's lacrosse close out Flagler with a strong fourth quarter to win 13-11.
The Lions now move to 4-3 after the win.

In the first quarter, Flagler took the early before being matched by Senior

After Tekmen, it was Senior
Justin Williams who tied the game up after Flagler had once again taken a lead.

The quarter ended with the Lions taking a 4-3 lead heading into the second.

Freshman
Greg Palmer struck first in the second quarter to try and give the Lions a small cushion.

The game went into halftime with Flagler leading 8-6.

Justin Williams answered back early in the third quarter at just under a minute into it to bring the Lions back within one goal.

Junior
Guy Bistrow tied the game up with a goal of his own to the bring the game to a level 8-8 score.

Freshman
John Raucci continued a three-goal run by the Lions in the third to give the Green & Gold the lead once again.

Great defense in the fourth quarter closed the game out for the Lions to finish on top 13-11.

Justin Williams led the team in scoring with four goals while also tallying an assist.
Â
Chase Strait made a season-high 16 saves to help the Lions to victory.

Up next, the Lions continue on the road as they travel to Rome, Georgia to square off versus Shorter University. The game is scheduled for March 15th with face-off at 7:00pm.
