SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo University Men's basketball team could not hold off the nation's top offense Saturday, as #2/#1 Nova Southeastern defeated the Lions 109-84 Saturday night at the Marion Bowman Activities Center.
Saint Leo (18-9, 9-7 SSC) shot over 55% from the field through 54 shots, but Nova Southeastern (23-0, 16-0 SSC) produced 72 shot attempts on the night.
Guards
Kanon Koster and
Logan Ryan both tallied 17 points apiece, with Koster going 5-for-6 from the floor including 2-for-2 from long range.
The Lions are on the road Wednesday, traveling to Winter Park, Fla. to avenge an earlier season loss to Rollins College; tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
