Box Score SAINT LEO, Fla – The Lions' fought hard in the first half but fell 1-4 against Barry.

In the first half, the Lions had to hold their own defensively and strike when an opportunity arose.Â
Barry held a majority of possession while going forward. They totaled five shots in the first half.
The Buccaneers were first to find the back of the net in the 18th minute when David Polanco passed
Ricardo Ceballos' grasp with a bottom middle shot to give Barry the 1-0 lead.
Barry continued about eight minutes later when Oier Calvillo slipped a shot into the bottom right corner to double the Bucs' lead.
Almost right off kick-off after the Bucs' second goal,
Anel Rojas was able to deliver the Lions' first goal of the game after a great pass from Edorado Degl'Innocenti.
The game entered halftime with the Buccaneers holding a 2-1 lead.
The second half is where things started to go wrong for the Lions as Barry consumed more and more possession which eventually led to more opportunities on net for the Buccaneers.
The Green & Gold went on to concede two more goals in the second half before ultimately falling 1-4 against Barry.
The Lions are next in action back home versus Lynn University on October 14th in an SSC matchup. Kick-off is scheduled for 7:00pm.
