ORLANDO, Fla - The Saint Leo Women's Volleyball team has completed day one of the South Region Volleyball Crossover after dropping both game versus Lee University and Mississippi College.
In game one, the Lions went up against the Lee Flame in a close matchup that did however finish in three sets in favor of the Flame.
The Lions were led offensively by
Reagan Hopp who finished the game with a team-high 12 kills.
Hopp was also a force on the defensive side of the matchup with the second most digs for the Lions with 11.
Jeanette Henderson held the team-lead with 12 digs.
Tajma Muharemovic chipped in with a team-high 18 assists.
In game two, the Lions matched up versus Mississippi College and pushed them to five sets before ultimately falling in a close game.
Madi Certain stepped up for the Lions offensively with a team-high 16 kills
Certain was also joined by Muharemovic who had a team-high 43 assists.
Jeanette Henderson was once again the leader defensively with 18 digs.
The Lions are right back in action tomorrow as they face the Auburn-Montgomery Warhawks at 2:30pm.
