SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo University Men's basketball team will host its final non-conference game of the season Tuesday as the team takes on Paine College.
Saint Leo (15-8, 7-6 SSC) comes off an overall balanced week, defeating RV/RV Florida Tech 92-72 in a midweek showdown before Palm Beach Atlantic bested the Lions 75-70 over the weekend.

Marty Jackson is getting back into a groove, entering Tuesday's contest averaging 19.8 points a game in the last four contests. Jackson was not the only Lion that found a rhythm; guard
Kanon Koster averaged 19 points with 5.5 boards, three assists, and one block, while Sophomore guard
Grant Disken shot over 58% from the floor and 75% long range.
As an NCCAA school, Paine (6-11) has played regional opponents, but these Lions come off an 88-81 win over Carolina University, snapping a five-game losing streak. While the Purple & Black shoot nearly 43% from the floor and 30% from beyond the perimeter, the team has made a living off turnovers, forcing 16.8 turnovers while averaging 17.3 points off turnovers and 9.6 steals a game this season.
Paine is led by Quinnton Jackson, averaging nearly 19 points a game along with 3.7 assists and 2.4 steals. Nate Adams is another player to watch, averaging 14.6 points with 9.6 boards, two steals, and one block a game.
Tuesday will mark the first-ever meeting between Paine and Saint Leo. Tipoff at the Marion Bowman Activities Center is set for 7 p.m. Fans unable to attend can follow the live action from the links below:
