The Lions Go On The Road Versus Florida Tech

SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo women's basketball team travel to Melbourne, Fla. to face off against the Florida Tech Panthers at the Charles and Ruth Clemente Center for a Sunshine State Conference matchup.

GAME 20
The Lions look to end their recent struggles versus the Panthers in a midweek Conference Battle. The Green & Gold head into this matchup at 9-10 overall, and 2-9 in the Sunshine State Conference.

Player to Watch
Senior Amanda Ulrich heads into this midweek battle as the team's leader and also stands among the best in the SSC. Ulrich is currently second in points per game (19.0), fifth in free throw percentage (87.3%), and fifth in minutes played (637).

Players Ranked in the SSC
Alex Button – Button currently sits eighth in field goal percentage (50%), eighth in blocked shots (11), ninth in three-point percentage (40.5%) and 11th in points per game (13.6).
Kiki McIntyre – McIntyre currently ranks first in steals (56), ninth in total assists (67), and 19th in points per game (11.1)
Jumoke Adaramoye – Adaramoye is currently ranking 13th in steals (30) and 14th in rebounds per game (5.1),


Scouting Florida Tech
Florida Tech is led by 36th year head coach John Reynolds. Reynolds has seen the development of the women's basketball team at Florida Tech since they had their inaugural season in 1986-87. The Panthers currently sit in 11th place in the Sunshine State Conference at 1-10 in conference play. The Panthers are led by Freshman guard Tai Roberts who leads the Panthers attack with 13.3 points per game.

The Lions will continue their road trip as they go up against Palm Beach Atlantic for a Saturday afternoon Sunshine State Conference game on January 28th. Tipoff is scheduled for 2:00 PM.
