KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The United Soccer Coaches Association announced Wednesday that Saint Leo Graduate Goalkeeper
Ricardo Ceballos has been named the United Soccer Coaches College Player of the Week for NCAA DII.
The news comes just two days after receiving the Sunshine State Conference's Defensive weekly honors, as the Mexico City, Mexico native recorded back-to-back shutouts against #8 Auburn Montgomery and #24 University of West Florida.
The national recognition is Ceballos' first from the United Soccer Coaches Association.
The Lions are back on the pitch Thursday for the team's season opener against Trinity College (Fla.). Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
