MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Sunshine State Conference (SSC) announced its first, weekly awards for the Fall sports Monday, as Sophomore Midfielder
Noah Kvifte and Graduate Goalkeeper
Ricardo Ceballos notched the conference's Players of the Week awards.
Kvifte was named SSC's Offensive Player of the Week after scoring the game-winning goal responsible for Saint Leo's monumental 1-0 upset win over #8 Auburn University-Montgomery.
In a span of three days, Ceballos posted back-to-back shutouts on the road against #8 Auburn-Montgomery and #24 University of West Florida. The Mexico City native recorded four saves over the weekend in his debut wearing the Green and Gold.
These are both student-athletes' first times receiving the weekly honors.
