SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo Acrobatics and Tumbling team celebrated a history win in the program's first-ever win over Presbyterian College, 247.910 – 238.255, on Saturday, April 9, 2022 inside the Marion Bowman Activities Center. The season finale at home wrapped up the Lions' second season of acrobatics and tumbling, their first complete season, registering a 1-5 record. The meet came down to the wire as Saint Leo edged Presbyterian in the Compulsory, Acro, and Tumbling events. The visiting Blue Hose outscored the Lions in the Pyramid and Toss events.
Following the Toss event, Presbyterian held the slight edge of 113.30 over Saint Leo 113.00. The Green and Gold reclaimed the lead after taking the six-heat Tumbling event; 163.45 – 158.375.
Presbyterian finished the meet overcoming an injury and completing the team event. Saint Leo notched the history tally in the win column with a score of 84.46 in the team event.
