SAINT LEO, Fla. – #8 Saint Leo University acrobatics & tumbling senior
Carolyn Jackson has been named the Specialist of the Week by the National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association as announced on Wednesday. Santiago joins
Carolyn Jackson as the only two to earn the weekly honors this season. Freshman
Addison Oakley was named honorable mention for Freshman of the Week.
Santiago, a senior from Pittsburgh, Pa., was a standout in the pyramid event this week. The base helped Saint Leo to a perfect 10.0 in the open heat and a 9.90 in the inversion heat.
The Lions regular season ended last week and will await their postseason plans.
