ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – The No. 3 Saint Leo women's tennis team ended the regular season in the win column, defeating the No. 8 Hawaii Pacific Sharks, 4-2 Saturday afternoon. The big nationally-ranked victory raised the Lions' overall record to 18-2 under the direction of head coach

Lavinia Lancellotti at the four spot,
Alina Fedulova competing in the fifth flight, and sixth singles
Kamilya Shailina each contributed points in the exciting win.
Furmaniak and Fedulova battled into a third set against the Sharks to bring home the 'dub.'
Kamilya Shailina was the first to finish her match, rolling over her opponent; 6-0, 6-2. Meanwhile, Lancellotti secured a 6-3, 6-4 decision.
The Lions will head into the Sunshine State Conference Tournament Championship with the momentum from Saturday. Saint Leo drew the third seed in the bracket released Friday evening. April 22 marks the first day of the three-day tournament held at the IMG Academy. Saint Leo is slated to open the postseason play against sixth seed Rollins.
