SAINT LEO, Fla. – The No. 9 Saint Leo blanked the No. 20 University of Texas at Tyler 7-0 on Tuesday inside the Saint Leo Tennis Courts. The confident win raised the Lions' overall record to 8-2, remaining 1-1 in the Sunshine State Conference.

Willem Van Den Akker top the ninth ranked duo in the nation; 6-0.

th in singles action, upset No. 4 Gonzalo Fernandez in a first flight three-set battle. The senior from Chile bested Fernandez 6-0, 3-6, 6-2.

th ranking in singles action taking the third flight 6-2, 6-3. Meanwhile, teammate
Brad Eidenmuller upset sixth flight opponent, No. 34 Egor Shestakov, 6-2, 6-4.
The Lions return to their home court on Wednesday, March 9 to host Ferris State starting at 4:00 p.m.
