th nationally. The Lions topped the Saints 5-2 in the top-20 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) showdown on Saturday in St. Augustine. The victory raised the Green and Gold's overall record to 5-2
Saint Leo jumped out ahead 1-0 taking the doubles point with wins front the first (6-2) and second (6-3) flights.
In singles action,
Brad Eidenmuller tallied the second point for the Lions taking sixth singles 6-2, 6-2. No. 45
Vincent Thiel brought home the first of three three-set wins. Thiel edged his opponent 6-1, 4-6, 7-5 in third singles.
No. 27
Bruno Faletto clinched the match in the first singles spot outlasting his opponent in a three-set battle; 6-1, 6-7 (7), 6-1.
Nicolas Bacella wrapped up the match recording a win over No. 31 Nikita Tatyanin; 7-6 (7), 2-6, 7-5.
