Kanon Koster and Fifth-Year Forward
Marty Jackson are just a few players that have carried the scoring workload, respectively averaging 17.8 and 16 points a contest. Both players come off strong performances from the Terrace Hotel Thanksgiving Classic, as Koster posted 29 points against Anderson (S.C.) while Jackson's overall defensive play over the weekend earned the Missouri-St. Louis transfer Sunshine State Conference honors.
Embry-Riddle has settled in well, playing five of its first six games at home. The Blue, Yellow & White enter Wednesday's game coming off an 83-73 win over Wingate. Rebounds have contributed to ERAU's early success this season, as the Eagles' 47.5 boards average is the second-highest in NCAA DII. Michael McCalister has played a primary role in grabbing boards, averaging 9.3 while posting 9.2 points.
Chris Murray leads the Eagles in scoring (17.2) from shooting 56.7% from the floor while taking 7.2 rebounds a game. The Miami, Fla. native is also one of three ERAU players averaging one steal a game.
Defensively, Embry-Riddle has the SSC's second-best field percentage defense (.384) and allows just over 29% of long-range shots.
