Saint Leo women's basketball head coach?Anthony Crocitto?became the program's leader in wins when the Lions took down Johnson University Monday evening. Crocitto picked up his program-record 71st?win, defeating the Suns, 105-28. The Lions shattered the program record for assists tonight, recording 28 assists. The Lions controlled the lead from?tipoff and kept their foot on the gas throughout the game. Amanda Ulrich?led the Lions' offense with a team-high 18 points. She recorded her season-high from outside the perimeter with four. Ulrich also recorded a solid bunch of season-highs tonight tallying five rebounds, five assists, and three steals. Saint Leo dominated the paint scoring a total of?66 points. The bench came to play this evening recording 50 points.
Players to Watch
Ulrich heads into Sunday's battle against Bentley currently leading the Lions' offense with 65 points. Alex Button leads the Saint Leo offense from beyond the perimeter with a team-high ten three-pointers. Button currently holds an impressive .625% from three, heading into the Lions' fourth game. Kiki McIntyre looks to keep the Lions' defense in check, she currently leads the team in steals with 14. Alayna Harris (22 rebounds) and Jumoke Adaramoye (21 rebounds) will look to lead the Lions' charge at crashing the boards.
Looking at the Falcons
Bentley University is led by third-year head coach C White. The Falcons are currently ranked #1 in the east via D2SIDA. Bentley heads into this Monday's non-conference battle, holding a 4-1 record. Kari Brekke currently leads the falcons' offense with a team-high 12.9 points per game.
