SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo University Men's soccer team struggled to generate chances Tuesday evening, as the Lions were upset by Florida Southern 3-0 at Barnett Athletic Complex.
Saint Leo (7-8, 2-7 SSC) were outshot 14-7 on the night, as the Green & Gold landed one shot on net. Midfielder
Federico Tellechea led the Lions with three shots, as Graduate
Miguel Fernandez recorded two.
Florida Southern (4-4-7, 1-3-5 SSC) scored its first goal in the first half before adding two more in the second.
The Lions conclude their season in Boca Raton, Fla. Friday, facing the Fighting Knights of Lynn University; kickoff is set for 2 p.m.
