SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo men's soccer team returned to the pitch Friday night under the direction of third-year head coach
Brett Parker. Saint Leo generated 11 shots but fell short in a 3-0 decision to the Auburn University at Montgomery Warhawks.
The visiting Warhawks converted a pair of penalty kicks awarded in the first half. Auburn-Montgomery tallied its' third goal in the first 32 seconds of the second half. The Lions responded by outshooting the Warhawks 6-4 in the second half but would be unable to close the gap.

Riccardo Zarri, earned three saves during his first appearance in the Green and Gold.
Saint Leo looks ahead to its' next match on Sunday, September 5. The Lions are scheduled to return to the Saint Leo Soccer Field to host No. 18 West Florida starting at 12:30 p.m. The Argonauts enter the game after a long 3-2 overtime win at Tampa Friday night.
