WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The third-ranked Saint Leo men's tennis team stayed perfect as the Lions raised their overall record to 5-0, 5-0 in the Sunshine State Conference. On Saturday, the Green and Gold defeated Palm Beach Atlantic, 5-2, on the east coast by picking up the doubles point, and third, fourth, fifth, and sixth singles flights.
Saint Leo has won the doubles point in every match so far this season.
Aurel Ciocanu,
Alexander Parker, and
Christopher Traut each won their double team matches and respective singles matches. Traut has yet to lose a match in singles (4-0) or doubles (5-0). At the fifth flight, he came back from dropping his first set (6-3) to win the three set match; 3-6, 6-3, 6-1.

Keeping Our Lions Healthy & Safe
Saint Leo University Athletics is keeping our student-athletes healthy and safe by following a number of measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. This includes having student-athletes tested or screened on a regular basis, traveling in smaller groups, holding competitions without fans in attendance, avoiding overnight trips, and wearing masks when not competing. These safety standards meet those set by the NCAA Division II and the Sunshine State Conference President's Council. At Saint Leo University, the COVID-19 Incident Command Team also reviews the teams' safety protocol and monitors adherence on a regular basis.
