PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Saint Leo women's tennis, ranked sixth nationally, returned to the win column on Friday, sweeping Auburn Montgomery, 4-0. The non-conference match opened the first of three days the Green and Gold will play in the Ralph "Skeeter" Carson Complex during the Lions' spring break.
Saint Leo (5-3) took the doubles point winning first and second doubles matches. In singles action, flights one, three, and fifth tallied the sweep.
Molly Helgesson and
Nastasia Jedrychowski each went 2-0 on the day. Together, the won second singles (7-5) followed by a first singles win by Helgesson and a fifth spot victory by Jedrychowski.
