OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – The Saint Leo men's tennis team drew the seventh seed of the first-ever Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Indoor Championship. The historic championship is slated to begin on Friday, Feb. 28 and run until Sunday, March 1. The three-day championship welcomes first-seed Barry, second-seed Columbus State, third-seed Hawaii Pacific, fourth-seed West Florida, fifth-seed Wingate, sixth-seed Flagler, seventh-seed Saint Leo, and eighth-seed Midwestern State.
The seventh-seeded Saint Leo Lions are scheduled will open round one against second-seed Columbus State on Friday, starting at 12 p.m. (ET). The whole Indoor Championship schedule can be found at

The Green and Gold enter the championship with a 2-0 record after defeating No. 7 Flagler (4-3) and Eckerd (6-1). The last time Saint Leo and Columbus State met was outdoors on Feb. 8, 2019 in Columbus, Ga. The No. 1 Cougars defended its home courts, 7-0.
