  • Saint Leo will look to play in its second tournament of the spring season after taking seventh at the Matlock Intercollegiate with a 54-hole score of 903.
  • Kevin Johnson and Oliver Lilliedahl paced the team where they both tied for 11th at five-over 221.

  • The No. 5 Saint Leo men's tennis team opened the season clinching a top-10 win in a tight 4-3 decision over No. 7 Flagler. The Lions have rested over the last two weeks and are now set to travel to Eckerd, opening play in Sunshine State Conference.
  • The Eckerd Tritons men's tennis team will open the 2020 season hosting the Lions. Eckerd was polled eighth in the SSC Coaches' Preseason Poll while Saint Leo was picked third.
  • Last year, Saint Leo topped Eckerd 6-1 at that Saint Leo Tennis Center.
  • The No. 6 Saint Leo women's tennis team looks to bounce back after taking a loss to No. 1 Barry on Friday. The Lions were polled fourth in the SSC Coaches' Preseason Poll while the Tritons were picked 10th.
  • Eckerd opened the season against Nova Southeastern on Friday, taking a 7-0 loss from the Sharks.
  • In 2020, the Green and Gold blanked Eckerd at the Saint Leo Tennis Center.

  • Saint Leo looks to bounce back after dropping two straight to Embry-Riddle Saturday night, 13-5 and 13-2. In the last Tuesday night matchup, the Lions fell to Valdosta State 5-4 in a tightly contested finish at Thomas B. Southard Stadium.
  • Amir Wright is the top offensive player for the Green and Gold witha .419 clip with 18 runs scored and 18 hits which includes six doubles and one triple. Sam Crail is the leader in RBI with 18 on the season.
  • From the mound, Ruddy Gomez is the leader holding a team-low 2.86 ERA with a 2-1 record in 22 innings of work with 26 strikeouts.
  • Flagler travels to Saint Leo after dropping four straight games including a 3-0 sweep at Columbus State over the weekend.
  • Aaron Anderson leads the Saints in batting average (.412), RBI (11), runs scored (12), and hits (21) which include five doubles, one triple and one homerun.
  • From the mound, Blake Hooker holds a 0.00 ERA in seven innings of work with a 2-0 record and 11 strikeouts while Colk Mink is the leader in innings pitched at 25. Mink is sitting at a 0.72 ERA with a 2-1 record on the season. The strikeout leader for the Saints is Nathan Henderson with 24 in four appearances.

  • Saint Leo will close out its regular schedule home schedule with a four-game win streak. The Lions put together a 16-3 run for a come from behind win over Lynn on Saturday, 69-66. Amanda Ulrich earned a game-high 27 points followed by Alani Gallagher with 16 points and Alex Button with 15. Gina Brierley snagged a game-high 10 rebounds.
  • The 10th SSC win marked the most wins in program history for league wins beating out nine in 2013-14 where the Lions finished with a 20-10 overall record and a 9-7 SSC record, solidifying a fourth place finish.
  • On the season, Ulrich paces the Lions with 15.5 points per game (ppg) while Button puts up 14 ppg followed closely by Gallagher with 13.5 ppg.
  • Button leads the conference in three-point percentage (.477) while Ulrich is the fourth highest scorer in the SSC. Saint Leo averages 71.3 ppg, the second highest scoring offense in the league, just under Eckerd with 73.3 ppg. Off the glass, Gallagher is the fourth highest rebounder in the conference with 8.3 rebounds per game (rpg).
  • Eckerd holds a six-game win streak as the second place team in the SSC. After a tight first quarter, the Tritons opened the second quarter with an 11-1 run, which propelled Eckerd to an 87-65 win over Embry-Riddle on Saturday. Octavia Loll put up 23 points alongside Mikayla Kuehne and Eneritz Larranaga with 15 and 12 points, respectively. Zoe Richards earned a game-high nine rebounds.
  • On the season, five Tritons average double-digits: Octavia (12.9), Richars (11.5), Larranaga (10.7), Abby Whiteye (10.5), and Kuehne (10.3). Richards leads the team off the glass with 6.6 rpg.
  • The Tritons are the highest scoring offense in the SSC tallying an average 73.3 ppg. The Tritons also lead in three-point field goal percentage (.368), as a team, just over Saint Leo (.362). The Tritons offense will need to get around the leading three-point field defensive team, the Lions (.275). Off the window, Eckerd is second among conference play in offensive rebounding (36.9) and defensive rebounds (30.8).
  • HISTORY: The Lions and Tritons last met on Wednesday, Jan. 22 in St. Petersburg, Fla. The Tritons took away a 61-51 decision after Saint Leo cut the game to just four points with three minutes to play. Brierley dropped a double-double in the loss with 14 points and 12 rebounds.

  • Saint Leo is hosting Eckerd in the final regular season game at the Bowman Center after topping Lynn Saturday night on senior night 99-82. Isaiah Hill paced the team with a game-high 27 points while Kyran mcClure added 21 points for the Green and Gold.
  • On the year, Kyran McClure, who leads the nation in free throws made (186) and is 13th in free throw percentage (89.67), leads the team in points per game at 21.2. Hill adds 17.1 ppg for the Lions.
  • Saint Leo is seventh in the SSC in conference games scoring with 81.9 ppg while sitting in fifth at 83.1 in defense. McClure is fourth in scoring in conference games at 21.2 ppg while Hill is eighth at 18.7.
  • Eckerdcarries a three-game skid into Wednesday's road trip, having fell most recent to Embry-Riddle 90-82. Travis Bianco led the way with 23 points and 10 rebounds while Myron hagins chipped in 18 points and 12 rebounds with Admir Radoncic adding 21 points.
  • On the year, Bianco is the team leader in scoring at 17.0 ppg with Hagins in second at 16.0 and Radoncic at 15.2.
  • Eckerd is eighth in scoring in conference games with 77.4 ppg while sitting one spot out of last in scoring defense at 85.3 ppg. Bianco is seventh in the league in rebounding at 7.7 per game.
  • HISTORY: In the last meeting, the Lions saw Isaiah Hill grab a rebound with 9-seconds to go and run coast-to-coast and finish it to sneak away from St. Petersburg, Fla. with a 79-77 win on Jan. 22. Kyran McClure led all scorers with 28 points while Bianco was second in the contest with 24 points for the Tritons.
