Lions Ledger: Basketballs Host Florida Southern in Big SSC Matchup Wednesday

Saint Leo split the week after a week on road at Eckerd (51-61) and Florida Tech (66-60). Saturday's 10-point win over the Panthers earned a season sweep over the SSC opponents. The strong start to the second half of SSC play was paced by Amanda Ulrich with 20 points, which marked the sixth 20-plus point performance of her rookie campaign.
On the season, Ulrich leads the Lions scoring 14.5 points per game (ppg) with a team-high 52 assists and 25 steals. Alani Gallagher and Alex Button add depth to the offense with 13.9 and 12.7 ppg, respectively. Gallagher's work inside the paint has translated into a team-high 7.2 rebounds per game (rpg).

Saint Leo hosts no.9 Florida Southern after falling short in Saturday night's game against Florida Tech in overtime, 99-93. Isaiah Hill dropped a career-high 35 points on a 13-of-14.
Kyran McClure, Isaiah Hill and Rusty Moorer continue to lead the Lions in scoring, averaging 21.2, 16.4, and 10.7 points per game (ppg), respectively.
