PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Saint Leo women's soccer team ended up on the wrong end of a tight 1-0 game with No. 17 West Florida on Sunday. The Argonauts netted the lone goal in the 19th-minute of the regional match up.
The No. 17 West Florida Argonauts (3-1) outshot the Saint Leo Lions (3-2-1) 20-2 as the hosts placed seven shots on frame.
Sydney Chase took both of the Green and Gold's shots.

Julia Ortiz earned six saves, moving her season tally to 27.
The Lions return to the Saint Leo Soccer Field on Wednesday, September 25 at 7 p.m. to host the Flagler Saints.
