SAINT LEO, Fla. – The No. 4 Saint Leo men's tennis Lions took down the Eckerd Tritons 6-1 in Wednesday's Sunshine State Conference (SSC) match. The conference win raised the Green and Gold's record to 13-5 overall, 4-1 in the SSC.

The Lions pulled out the victory in doubles (2-1).
David Perez and
Armindo Nhavene Jr. took doubles flight no. 3 with a 6-2 decision followed by #47
Bruno Faletto and
Leonardo Vega who clinched a 7-6 (7) flight no. 1 victory.

In singles, #48 Faletto earned the first singles win 6-1, 6-1. Second singles
Ghali Mensour (6-1, 6-1), third singles
Noel Kunz (6-2, 6-3), and fifth singles
Leonardo Vega (6-2, 6-3) all followed suit with victories. Sixth singles
Armindo Nhavene Jr. wrapped things up with a 6-1, 6-3 decision.

No. 4 Saint Leo resumes play on Saturday, April 6 at 10 a.m. hosting No. 10 West Florida.
