PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Junior
Shawn Bell of the Saint Leo men's track team took part in the 125
th annual running of the Penn Relays Thursday in Philadelphia, Pa. The Penn Relays is one of the most prestigious track & field events in the world and only a select few student-athletes from around the country are able to compete.

Bell took to the track in the 3,000m steeplechase and placed 41
st with a time of 9:31.95. Ten of the 11 top finishers came from NCAA Division I institutions.

This marks the second-straight year the Lions have had a representative at the Penn Relays as former Lion Colett Rampf took third in the steeplechase at the 2018 Penn Relays.
