PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Junior Shawn Bell of the Saint Leo men's track team took part in the 125^th annual running of the Penn Relays Thursday in Philadelphia, Pa. The Penn Relays is one of the most prestigious track & field events in the world and only a select few student-athletes from around the country are able to compete.
 
Bell took to the track in the 3,000m steeplechase and placed 41^st with a time of 9:31.95. Ten of the 11 top finishers came from NCAA Division I institutions.
 
This marks the second-straight year the Lions have had a representative at the Penn Relays as former Lion Colett Rampf took third in the steeplechase at the 2018 Penn Relays.
