Men's Lacrosse Notes
- No. 17 Saint Leo dominated Georgian Court 24-8 on Saturday. The confident win was led by senior attacker Charlie Kurtenbach with 10 points; scoring six goals and four assists. He also added five ground balls and a caused turnover to his standout performance.
- Philip Buque scored 4-of-6 shots taken (.667 SH%) against Georgian Court. Crispy with the rock, Buque added three assists to his four goals for a standout seven-point performance over the visiting Lions. He also earned a caused turnover.
- Jordan Williams went 20-29 on the face earning 12 ground balls. in
- Jake Love caused three turnovers and picked up two ground balls. Meanwhile, Thomas Tatarian faced 40 shots, 21 of them dangerous. The grad-student goalkeeper earned 13 saves, keeping Georgian Court to eight goals.
- On the season, Kurtenbach has put together 27 points (16g, 11a) followed by Buque with 20 points (12g, 8a), and Liam Mueller with 11 (5g, 6a).
- Tatarian (1-2) enters the week with a .467 save percentage after 42 saves.
- No. 20 Assumption College scored four times in the first five minutes of the fourth quarter to fight back from an 8-5 deficit and the defense allowed just two goals in the final period as the Hounds finished off the comeback with an 11-10 victory over No. 9 Tampa on the road Sunday afternoon.
- Travis Reid scored three times in the fourth, finishing the game with four goals and three assists on six shots. Trevor Wilcox added a hat trick while Owen Peterson had one goal and one assist.
- Colby Hamwey was essential in net as he tied his career high with 19 saves, including 11 in the second half to secure the victory.
- On the season, Reid has tallied 34 points (19g, 15a) followed by Dan Farrell with 15 points (8g, 7a).
- Hamwey (2-1) visits Saint Leo with a .667 save percentage after earning 36 stops.

Beach Volleyball Notes
- Saint Leo heads to its third tournament of the season this weekend as the Lions travel to Eckerd to compete in the Battle on the Bay.Â
- The Lions will face one familiar opponent as Saint Leo takes on North Florida for the second time this season while also facing FGCU and Webber International for the first time this season.
- The Lion duos of Amber Lake/Nina Vattovaz and Payton Bellano/Anilise Fitzi lead the team with three wins each this season while Annabella Arcari and Arlaina Stephenson are 2-0 as a team this season.
- FGCU has not competed this season but finished 15-11 last year. The Ospreys of UNF are 5-2 this season including a 5-0 victory over the Lions. The final opponent on the weekend will be Webber International who is 4-4 in 2019.

Women's Lacrosse Notes
- The Saint Leo Lions clinched a 14-13 double-overtime battle against the Seton Hill Griffins Wednesday night under the lights at University Turf Stadium. The electrifying win extended the Lions perfect season record to 5-0.Â
- Leslie Ferguson put up seven points (6g, 1a). In addition to the double hat-trick, she picked up five ground balls and caused three turnovers. Her sixth goal of the night forced the needed overtime period with mere seconds remaining in regulation. The clutch goal marked Ferguson's monumental 100th career goal, becoming the second person in program history to reach the elite mark.
- Janee DeLuca netted the game-winner in the midst of a five-point day (4g, 1a). DeLuca added three ground balls, a caused turnover and four draw controls to her big night.
- On the season, DeLuca (24 points), Ferguson (20 points), and Lexie Walstad (18) lead the Lions offense. Ashley Salvett continues to be a defensive force for the Green and Gold back line. Salvett has accumulated 14 caused turnovers and 17 ground balls after five games. She has also impacted the midfield with 11 draw controls.
- Lee looks to snap a three-game losing skid. On Wednesday, the Flames took a 22-2 loss at No. 20 Florida Tech. Rachael Giles and Becca Broadwick were able to find the back of the Panthers net on Wednesday.
- Broadwick enters Friday's action with 23 points from 16 goals, seven assists, and 27 draw controls.
- In goal, Abby Sanders has earned all six starts. Sanders has faced 121 shots while earning 35 stops and a .333 save percentage.
- Lenoir-Rhyne earned a pair of wins last week. The Bears will visit the Young Harris Mountain Lions on Friday, March 8 before visiting Saint Leo.
- On the season, Cathleen Gaffney leads the offense with 20 points (8g, 12a) followed by Rachel Elmore with 15 points from 15 goals along with 28 draw controls.
- Cristi Rowland and Teanna Sieben share the goal tending responsibilities. Rowland has earned 21 saves (.429 SV%) while Sieben has stopped 36 (.500 SV%).

- No. 23 Saint Leo baseball hosts Tiffin in a non-conference three-game three-day series starting Friday night. Â
- The Lions and Dragons played a seven-inning doubleheader last season with the Lions winning game one 1-0 and game two 6-5. Â Â
- Saint Leo is coming off a series loss on the road at Barry where the Lions lost the opening two contests before taking down the Buccaneers 10-5 in the series finale.
- Senior Jared Morello continues to lead the offensive threat for the Lions with a .412 batting average that includes three doubles, three triples and one home run. He has driven in 14 runs and drawn 12 walks.
- Fellow senior Peyton Isaacson leads in the power department with five home runs and a team-high 16 RBI.
- On the pitching side, the Lions have seen five different pitchers start games this season with redshirt junior Ryan Nolan leading the way with a 3-0 record.
- Nolan has seen the most action on the mound going a team-high 29.1 innings. Junior Joey Antonopoulos, who has seen 21.2 innings of work, and shares the team lead in strikeouts with Nolan as they each have 26 on the season.
- Tiffin is off to a 2-8 start and have a game Thursday afternoon against Winona State before traveling over to Saint Leo.
- Sophomore Zach Campbell leads the Dragons offensively with a .485 batting average with four doubles and two triples. Tiffin has just one home run on the year and that came off the bat of freshman Kole Klasic.
- The Dragons have sent five pitchers to the mound to start games this season with freshman Tyler Wehrle leading the way with a 1-1 record. Sophomore Cody Orr has seen the most action on the mound with a team-best 15.0 innings pitched while sophomore Michael Ross leads the team with 13 Ks.

- On the year, Kacie Kelly continues to lead the Lions with a .400 batting average with 30 hits seven of which are doubles and one triple.
- From the circle, Sara Neuman holds the staff's lowest ERA at 1.36 in 25.2 innings of work while Auria Mounts has appeared 13 times for 69 innings pitched and a team high 43 strikeouts.
- Embry-Riddle comes into the matchup on a two-game skid after dropping two of three against Nova Southeastern on March 1-2. The Eagles won the series opener 5-2 before falling 9-3 and 8-7.
- On the year, Mariana Pereira leads the team in average with a .440 with four doubles and one triple in her 22 hits while she has scored 14 runs and drove in 13.
- From the circle, in 13 appearances Lisa Hop paces the pitching staff with a 1.86 ERA and a 6-4 record. Hop and Jayla Jackson are tied for the team lead with 65 strikeouts.
