Women's Tennis Notes

No.3 Saint Leo defeated No.6 Nova Southeastern 4-3 on Sunday afternoon handing the Sharks their first Sunshine State Conference and regular season loss.
In singles, thirty-seventh ranked Kristyna Jurkova came back from being down 3-0 in the third set to clinch the victory over Nova Southeastern.
The Lions improved to 7-2 at home on the season.
No.11 Academy of Art faces No.12 Florida Southern before facing the Lions on Tuesday.
The Knights have defeated three ranked opponents in No.22 UC San Diego (4-3), No.16 Rollins (4-1), and No.22 St. Edwards (5-2).
