SAINT LEO, Fla. - Saint Leo softball used a one-out RBI single to left center from 
Emily Pilon to walk-off in six innings over the visiting Eckerd Tritons. The Lions defeated the Tritons 9-1 to pick up their 20th win of the year.

Auria Mounts got the nod for the Green and Gold and went 1.1 innings allowing just one run on two hits before 
Sadi Avants came in and silenced the bats of Eckerd. Avants pitched the final 4.2 innings, earned the win and held the Tritons to just one base runner, a walk in the sixth inning. The junior right-handed pitcher from Tushka, Okla. sat down the first 12 batters faced before ending the game with 13-of-14. Avants finished with just one lone walk while she struck out four, one ahead of Mounts' three in her 1.1 innings of work. 
Saint Leo put up a five spot in the first inning before adding one run in the second and third, as well as one in the fifth and sixth for its nine runs of the night. 
Sarah Pauscher and Deanna Falcigilia went 2-for-3 on the night to lead the Green and Gold where 
Kendyl Crean paced the team in RBI with four. Three of Crean's RBI came in the first inning on a single to center field scoring 
Shyanne DuBois, 
Ashley Morris and 
Kacie Kelly. Crean's other RBI was a sacrifice fly to left field driving in DuBois in the second.
Leading 8-1 in the bottom of the sixth with one out, 
Emily Pilon would drive the 1-2 pitch to the left center gap to score 
Bailey Burk for the ninth and final run of the game, handing the Lions a walk-off win over Eckerd. 
In all, seven different runners score with DuBois and Pauscher scoring twice while nine batters recorded a hit.
