SAINT LEO, Fla.- No.3 Women's Tennis defeated Florida Tech to earn their eighth sweep of the season and lift their record to 10-2.
 
Saint Leo earned the double match point, winning Flights 1 and 3. Doubles Flight 1 Kristyna Jurkova and Andrea Ivanovic defeated their opponents 6-2. Doubles Flight No.3 Marta Vicens Miquel and Georgia Dobell earned a 6-1 victory.

No.69 Marta Vicens Miquel led the Lions' singles competition in the one spot, 6-2, 6-3, No.37 Kristyna Jurkova won second singles 2-6, 6-4, 10-4, followed by Nina Furmaniak in the third slot; 6-2, 6-0. Madeleine Gauthier recorded a win in fourth singles, 6-2, 6-3. In fifth singles, Nastasia Jedrychowski won her match 6-1, 6-1. Anna Marija Bukina registered a 6-3, 6-2 victory.


The Lions return to action at home on Sunday, March 24 at 11:00 a.m. against Sunshine State Conference opponent No.6 Nova Southeastern.
