SAINT LEO, Fla. – The No. 14 Saint Leo Lions were taken down by the No. 2 Adelphi Panthers, 22-10, on Saturday, March 23.

Saint Leo (2-2) scored a trio in the first, third and fourth quarters paced by
Charlie Kurtenbach with a pair of goals and assists for a four-point day.
Liam Mueller and
Andrew Buck also netted a pair of goals. The Lions fell short in the shot count, 54-32. Facing the 54 shots was
Thomas Tatarian who earned 12 saves in 60 minutes of work.

Adelphi (2-0) saw 14 different people contribute points. Nicolas Racalbuto and Michael Osmundsen each earned a hat-trick to lead the Panther's offense. The battle in the 'X' was won by Mark Andrejack going 31-for-35 on the face. Goalkeeper, Brendan McDougal tallied his second win recording five saves in 53 minutes. Kevin Rice protected the net in the last seven minutes of action.

The Green and Gold return to University Turf Stadium on Saturday, March 2 at 1 p.m., continuing play against Georgian Court.
