LAKELAND, Fla - The No. 6 Saint Leo men's team defeated Florida Southern on Wednesday evening on the road.
The Lions took the doubles match point, winning all three pairs with a score of 6-1, 7-5, and 7-6.
Leading off for the Lions in the number one singles spot was #40
Bruno Faletto, who battled for a 6-1, 5-7, 3-1 victory.
Ghali Mensour played a great match at second singles bringing home a 6-2, 6-3 victory for Saint Leo. Meanwhile,
Aurel Ciocanu played a great game only needing two sets to bring home a 6-2, 6-4 win. Down but not out,
David Perez earned a 1-6, 6-3, 10-3 six singles win for the Lions.
The Lions return to action on Saturday, Feb. 23 starting at 10:00 a.m. match at No. 5 Flagler College.
