  • Saint Leo is set to host the Hampton Inn (Wesley Chapel) Classic in hopes to snap a three-game skid. On Saturday, the Lions were upset by the Spartans in overtime, 72-66, in the Marion Bowman Activities Center. Amanda Ulrich paced the Lions with 18 points followed by Alani Gallagher with 17 points and a team-high six rebounds. Alex Button electrified the night, going 3-for-5 from downtown during a 12-point performance.
  • Ulrich averages a team-high 14.6 points per game, scoring double digits in the last three appearances, facing Florida Southern, Nova Southeastern, and Tampa. The freshman guard is currently shooting .415-percent from the field, .341-percent from beyond the arch, and .733-percent on the charity stripe.

The Redhawks put up a powerful 25-3 fourth quarter to grab the comeback road win. Before facing the Lions on Saturday, Roberts Wesleyan will open the Hampton Inn (Wesley Chapel) Classic against the West Florida Argonauts.
