Box Score ATLANTA, Ga. – The Saint Leo women's basketball team fell in a head-to-head battle with the Clark Atlanta Panthers, 62-59, on Thursday. The tight non-conference decision moved the Green and Gold's record to 1-3 while the Panthers improve their season mark to 1-2.

Alani Gallagher was a huge presence on the hardwood. Foul trouble forced the junior forward off the court while the action continued. The Panthers sunk a three-pointer to claim the lead at 55-54 with 2:18 left on the game clock. Gallagher came off the bench, snagged a missed shot off the rim, recording a lead change for the Lions, 56-55.

Alex Button's good free throw tied it up at 57-57 with 1:06 ticks left on the clock. From there, Clark Atlanta hit a pair of free throws and tallied a block to ultimately see the decision through.Â
