SAINT LEO, Fla. – The United Soccer Coaches announced the 2018-19 Team Academic Award winners on Thursday. Among the 647 women's programs, the Saint Leo Lions recorded their ninth all-time honor (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2019). The Green and Gold were recognized for their ability to achieve a 3.0 grade point average or better on a 4.0 scale for all players on the 2018-19 roster.
 
In addition to the women's program achievement, the men's soccer team was also honored, lifting Saint Leo as one of 257 schools who displayed both programs among the recipients.
