LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced the 2019 Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes as well as the Easton/NFCA Team Academic rankings.
The Lions saw nine student-athletes earn the all-america scholar athlete nod while the team posted a 3.350 GPA. Of the top-87 teams on the team academic rankings, the Lions were one of four Sunshine State Conference schools, and came in second place behind Rollins.
Two thousand nineteen graduates
Bailey Burk,
Shyanne DuBois and
Ciara McCoy were among the nine student-athletes to be honored while upcoming sophomores
Rachel Bean and
Emily Pilon, juniors
Deanna Falciglia,
Maddy Lynn, and
Alexis Miniet and senior
Sadi Avants earned 2018-19 Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete.
As a team in 2018-19, the Lions posted a 31-18 record with a 20-10 mark in the Sunshine State Conference while advancing to the NCAA South Regional for the fourth straight season.
